DESCRIPTION:

MB EPOXY TABLE TOP RESIN is a premium casting epoxy resin specially formulated to deliver a high gloss finish in clear casting applications, leaving a smooth, glass-like surface. Our casting epoxy resin offers a slow cure and controlled property development at ambient and low temperatures without the use of accelerators, allowing for consistent results and a quick return to service.

NOTE:

The typical pot-life on this casting epoxy resin is roughly 45–60 minutes based on mass and temperature.

The full cure is 24 hours in normal conditions.

MEASURE:

Wearing your gloves on, pour the desired amount of Part A into a measuring container.

Pour Part B into the Part A container until it’s at the right mark to make it a 3:1 ratio.

PRO TIP - 

Mix up a little more than you think you’ll need to ensure complete coverage in one pour and avoid remixing later.

MIX:

Mix for at least 10–12 minutes in a round motion until the chemical is clear and free of striations.

Allow the mixed components to stand in your mixed cup for at least 2–5 minutes.

POUR:

Pour along the side of the container to help reduce air entrapment and allow bubbles to rise to the surface.

Small castings and potting units may take longer to cure than larger items.

WAIT: 

MB EPOXY TABLE TOP RESIN should remain undisturbed in a dust-free environment while curing.

Touch dry in about 10–12 hours.

Fully cured within 24 hours.

NOTE: 

Cold weather slows the curing process, whereas heat speeds curing up.
